meat (the Healthy Red Meat) has 33 percent less fat than chicken
or turkey breast. We provide prime ostrich cuts, filet and sirloin,
and use all the rest for roast, ground, all natural ostrich sausages
and ostrich filled ravioli that are out of this world.
Our
main farm is located on a 200 year old farm that was initially farmed
by the Governor of Michigan. The tradition of quality is still maintained
today.
All
Pokanoket's ostrich are free-range, fed our exclusive diet of fresh
grown all-natural products and are raised under strict grow out
guidelines. In addition, for optimal tenderness and quality second
to none, Pokanoket's ostrich are processed between 12-14 months
of age. All our original ostrich were hand picked from the finest
farms in South Africa and years of extensive research and cross
breeding have given us the most exquisite ostrich meat in the world.
In fact, each and every one of our farms is managed by an expertly
trained ostrich farmer. Nowhere else in the entire country is such
effort made to ensure such high quality ostrich is produced.

the past several years, the American Heart Association has selected
Pokanoket Ostrich Farm to serve our prime ostrich filet to
over 1,000 of the leading cardiologists in the United States. In
addition, Governor William Weld of Massachusetts picked Pokanoket
ostrich filet to serve to over 100 guests at his personal residence.

United States. We also provide product for export. All of our products
are USDA Approved and are grown in the United States.
